I am so excited to start off my blog! For my first post, I would like to share the first recipe I ever came up with "all by myself." Unlike many pasta salads, the sauce is made up of basil and tomato sauce--it really is more like pizza than salad! This recipe is very versatile. I have been making it for almost three years, and the only time I have measured the ingredients was to put this recipe in a form it could be written down and copied. Feel free to adjust the amounts of any and all ingredients to taste, or even to add or subtract something. Artichokes or Parmesan cheese would make a great addition, and I am sure it would be great with a flavor infused oil in place of the olive oil. Don't be afraid to get creative!
