Hi! Are you ready to get cooking? If not, that's cool too. There have certainly been days that I am more interested in the stories behind a recipe than actually making it, or just didn't have all the ingredients in the house. That being said, I hope that no one is overwhelmed by any of my recipes. If the instructions are ever unclear, feel free to let me know in the comments below.
I'm Emily, and one of my favorite things is finding common ground between my interests, and using that to make something wonderful. I created this blog to share both my love of cooking and my love of storytelling.
I find joy in incorporating creativity into all aspects of my life, whether it is to spice up an English paper (metaphorically, I hope), or adding a much more literal spice to make canned tomato sauce more interesting. While there is, of course, nothing original under the sun, I do my best to share interesting and new recipes that I have come up with. Even for recipes I have altered dramatically, I will share sources of inspiration.
While I don't have any food allergies myself, almost everyone I know has some sort of allergy, so I am used to working around allergies in my cooking.
